This new area, currently under construction, is much more than a landscaping projetc: it is the result of a true intercultural collaboration between the Tropical Parc team and artisans who have come directly from Indonesia.
Spanning 10,000 hectares, uou will find a whole new world: 1,008 Imperata Red Baron rice plants, 4 traditional Timorese houses, a Baliese rice granary, a Toroja house, a 90m² Joglo house crafted from carved wood, over 60 Hindu statues, thousands of tropical plants, hundreds of palm traas...

Take a walk around the Indonesian village comprised of numerous bamboo houses typical of the Bali countryside next to which stand two buffalo statues from the island of Java, used for working in the rice fields.
Visitors can also discover the daily life of Indonesian craftsmen and farmers around a weaving loom, a rice mill and dugout canoes floating on a pond...
Near the authentic bamboo constructions with leaf roofs you will find numerous statues of Hindu divinities like Ganesh, Garouda, Saraswati and Dewisiri. The Hindou statues are made by sculpteurs who helped renovate the Borobudur temple (one of the 7 wonders of the world).

The large Indonesian aviary is home to colourful birds from the islands of Bali, Sumatra or Java like the sulphur-crested cockatoo, the eclectus parrot and Asian parrots...
