Discover the varied fauna and flora around the salt marshes in Guérande and the coastal town of La Baule.

The Guarande salt marshes stretch over the towns of Guérande, Batz-sur-Mer and La Turballe, near the Morbihan. Nature lovers will be in heaven ! 

No less than 180 bird species live in this bird protection area.  Observe the avocets, little egrets, brants, western marsh harriers, blue throats, grey herons, bearded reedling, common spoonbills, common terns etc...

Also discover the salt marsh trade in Guérande : salt harvesting, transformation through the seasons to obtain the famous Guérande sea salt.
